I am excited to contribute a guest post to Indiesunlimited.com, a blog that celebrates independent authors. In my post, “Choosing the Right Editor for You,” I highlight the differences in services offered by book doctors, developmental editors, copyeditors, and proofreaders and offer some tips on how to find someone who matches your needs and your budget. You’ll also find a few resources that I recommend you check out as you begin your search.
The indiesunlimited blog team recognizes that technology is changing how we write, publish, market, purchase and read books, and they help independent authors stay on the cutting edge of this new environment. Their mission statement says it all! “It is the mission of Indiesunlimited.com to celebrate independent authors; to help them build their followings; to provide a platform for members of the independent author community to share and exchange ideas, knowledge, expertise and frustrations; and, for readers and reviewers to become exposed to the amazing depth and array of talent in the indie community.”

Hello! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are
you using for this website? I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

I’m using Word Press. Sorry. I don’t know of a better platform. If you’re having issues with hackers, there are other things you can do to protect yourself rather than changing platforms. Check out some of the posts on my friend, Angela Render’s, blog: http://www.thunderpaw.com/news. If your website has been compromised, you may also be interested in the services of her company, Thunderpaw (same website, just click around). Hope that’s helpful!
