Our very own Harrison Demchick, developmental editor specializing in adult fiction across many genres, will be returning once again to AwesomeCon for AwesomeCon 2017! The Washington convention center this year features celebrity guests like Felicia Day and the entire cast of The Guild, both David Tennant and Catherine Tate of Doctor Who, John Barrowman of the American drama series Arrow, Cartoonist, self-publisher, and award-winning art director John Gallagher, Khary Payton, latest addition to AMC’s The Walking Dead, to name a few.
Cons like this featured ample opportunities for fun whether you are a writer or just a sci-fi/fantasy/horror geek (in other words, your non-writer friends and family will have plenty to do while you attend your workshops). There are opportunities to get autographs and interact with the celebrity guests as well as interesting and informative panel discussions, and so much more. AwesomeCon 2017 will be held the weekend of June 16th-18th at The Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.
Harrison will give his talk “Skeleton in the Closet”, a talk on applying film structure to novels, on Saturday, June 17th at 1:00 – 1:45pm.
You may check the AwesomeCon 2017website for more information, or contact Becky Mezzanotte at programming@awesomecon.com for future event info. And if you’ve written a sci-fi, fantasy, or horror novel that’s just waiting for you take things to the next level, reach out for a free phone consultation today.
